I have enjoyed using the juicer and can’t think of a better and quicker way to get a lot of vitamins from fruits and vegetables. I even got inspired to purchase/make a compost bin so I can make better use of the pulp. I couldn’t find an inexpensive bin so I made one from chicken wire. It does the job. You can find on the internet all the information you need on composting.
Ever since we got our Breville juicer…my husband and I have become juicing junkies. I juice every day….seriously! I didn’t think I would use it that often, but considering it’s easy to clean (put a plastic grocery sack in the container that catches the pulp to make clean-up even easier)..and easy to use…it is definitely easy to become addicted to it. The pulp comes out dry..I couldn’t rejuice it as others have mentioned on here. The juice is frothy..and foamy, but if you mix it in it makes the juice taste creamier. I’ve made some gross juice combinations..but am learning with time what fruits and vegetables compliment each other. And no…grapefruit, mint and cucumber didn’t taste so hot. I recommend getting a juicing recipe book. I also recommend finding a juice that is good fiber wise (something with prunes hah)..since you lose a lot of fiber by not eating the pulp and skin of the fruit/vegetables.
The juicer arrived earlier than I expected (Thank you); was very simple to assemble and clean. The juices are fabulous! Beets, apples, carrots, peppers, cucumbers,celery, citrus and leaves of plants are a breeze. The juicer is powerful, quick and leaves very little dry pulp from the fruits and vegetables. I am so pleased with this juicer that I can not think of one drawback. This is the second juicer I’ve owned in the last 7 years. The Breville 800 is vastly superior and will be highly recommended to all my friends and family.
I reviewed many Juicers on the market- having owned one years ago I remembered all the things I hated about it- cleanup, small opening, whimpy motor etc. I was looking for a Juicer that would last a long time and addressed all those issues. The reviews posted encouraged me to get this Breville Fountain Elite. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it…easy to use and clean- it’s a total piece of “Art”…a TANK…this Juicer is just fun to use. I can’t wait to try new recipes…and crank it up. GET it – I promise you won’t be dissappointed. I was advised not to get a centrifugal type but this can juice anything!
It’s worth it. I was a little concern with the price at first, but I soon got over it. I love this product. I use it daily. Easy to use and clean. Love to two speeds for soft and hard produce. I love the pitcher, it’s hold back the foam. If you have the money to spend buy this juicer hands down the best!
