We are thoroughly enjoying our new juicer. Does a great job, easy to dis-assemble, clean and re-assemble. Good sturdy parts, and alot of power.

    Thumbs up:
I really like this machine. i used the HECK out of it. It is fast, easy to clean, and the two speed function is nice. The price is a nice place to start juicing. I like the wide mouth for apples and larger veggies. it is great for small juicing.

    Thumbs down:
It is not great for more juice than about 20 oz without cleaning. Many juice fasts call for about 30 oz of juice. It gets clogged and pulpy very fast. I sometimes have to run the pulp in to the machine again. The price is ok but the Sharper Image juicer is about $75 and it has the same functionality with a little less of a motor. I use this product a lot for 3 months – about 2 times a day. I have now upgraded to a champion commercial juicer for about $250. The Champion was recommended before I got this juicer.
Not a bad starter juicer. Maybe try to pay the money and get a better model.

I’ve tried several juicers over a few years, and hands-down this juicer is awesome!! It’s fast and easy to clean. The 2 speed function is amazing; I would recommend this juicer to anyone. I use it every day and for 2 people it’s perfect. Top notch product and 2 thumbs up.

This is a great product: fast working, gets almost everything out of the fruit, and easy to wash. Plastic waste and juice holders are a bit flimsy looking but did not break yet after intense 3 months of use so it looks like the company knew what they were doing. I also have had Ikon tea kettle from Breville for a few years now and it compliments it very nicely.

I am looking for a juicer and have had a Breville in the past, it is now too large for our RV lifestyle. I am looking for a compact juicer that will also juice spinach, and other leafy greens. Can someone out there give me some advise? Than you.Breville JE95XL Two-Speed Juice Fountain Plus

I used to have Hamilton Beach juicer (garbage) then I decided to get Breville. It’s soo worth it! I been making juice every morning, it’s quiet (comparing to H.B.) and makes a lot of juice. My whole family owns Breville juicer.

We’ve owned our Breville 95 since 2004. Actually it sits on the shelf the last two years, but before that we used it a fair amount with no problems. Even took it to Thailand when we moved there in 2005 and used a lot over there. The only reason I’m writing this review is due to the complaints I see from folks who say their juicer gave out early. There could be a number of reasons, most likely is they have overtaxed the motor while trying to juice. This is a home use juicer and not a commercial machine.

Unless you get a lemon this should work fine for you providing you don’t tax the machine. Heat is the major enemy for electronics and whenever you juice you are creating heat inside the motor. Too much heat and the motor will quit. One other reviewer had a good point about Breville adding a ‘reset’ button to the machine like they do with garbage disposals. It could be the company decided not to offer such as that would only encourage us to push the limits of the juicer – or maybe the bean counters got involved.

Someone else suggested buying a Champion claiming it made better juice. The Champion juicer is an auger style machine which forces fruits and vegetables through an auger to extract the juice and pulp whereas the Breville is a centrifugal design using a spinning mesh screen to extract more juice with less pulp. My wifes sister was diagnosed with colon cancer and her doctor prescribed the Champion juicer for her cancer diet as it produces more pulp which is beneficial to aid in elimination. I personally don’t like my juice with that much pulp but to each their own. She uses her Champion a lot and I’ve noticed very annoying sounds while she juices her veges. Seems the plastic auger deteriorates over time and the juice along with it. With the high speed mesh you won’t have that problem as it either spins or not. Both provide excellent juice – depending on your taste.

We don’t use our juicer as much anymore because we find it easier to simply buy fresh juice at Trader Joe’s for about the same price as juicing ourselves. If we were to get serious on juicing again and wanted to go more exotic, then we’ll fire up the Breville again.

We’ve owned three other juicers over the years, including a Champion, and this is the best one. We are totally satisfied with this machine as a juicer. Has plenty of power and the juice it produces is excellent. Just follow the instructions, don’t overheat the machine and it should last a long time.
